American Anthropological Association has voted in favor of BDS motion to boycott complicit Israeli universities

A majority of 71% of the American Anthropological Association (AAA) voted for the boycott of Israeli universities complicit in Israel’s system of apartheid, occupation and settler colonialism. On the website of BDS, it is mentioned that the AAA is “now the largest academic association to endorse the Palestinian call to boycott complicit Israeli universities.” We congratulate the AnthroBoycott collective and the BDS-movement with this big victory and we hope that soon more academic associations and departments, including in the Netherlands, will follow the example the AAA set.
